I missed Christmas, so would now like to take this moment to say I hope you all had a good one, and to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It is a busy time of year, and mine was made even more busy with working on Quick and Easy Vegan Slow Cooking throughout December.

I don't make resolutions, but if you do I hope they are well thought out and achievable! However, I will say that I am going to attempt to be less irregular with my postings here in 2012. Starting with just after the New Year I will have the long ago promised review of Nava Atlas' Vegan Holiday Kitchen for you - we've made a lot of holiday meals from this book to give it a good try out so I could give an in depth review. When I say we, I do mean we, as M (at nearly 10) has decided she wants to be involved in cooking everything with me - I am encouraging this, and we enjoy doing it together - she's getting very good at using the potato peeler, and can make a massaged kale salad all by herself (not that she eats them, but I sure appreciate it).

I'll see you with the review (unfortunately sans photos unless I can find some online) shortly - have a Happy New Year!

It sounds like you have some awesome holiday cooking help with 'M'. I will be looking forward to your new posts this next year.
