Mo Fo 23

The Vegan Cookie Connoisseur by Kelly Peloza is a book that makes a great first impression. I mean, I knew it was hardcover, but when it arrived in the mail (courtesy of Skyhorse Publishing, thank you very much) I was surprised at how substantial it was! Heavy!
I like the into section Kelly has, especially the Q&A part which those new to baking will find helpful. On the whole it is easy to read, a little amusing, very personable, flows well, and has lots of selection!

All of you who like books with lots of photos will like this one! It looks like most, if not all, recipes have a photo.

Now this (and the following few posts) is just a "first impression" review and I will follow up with a real review in December, after MoFo, when I have had a chance to use some of the recipes. I think I'll let the kiddies pick a recipe each, and start with that.

I flipped through this book at Borders the other day and was so impressed with the creative cookie recipes. I can't wait to see what you bake.
