OK. So today's book isn't totally vegan. Its another restaurant cookbook, this time the restaurant being Rebar in Victoria, BC. (Never been there either, does anyone have comments??)
There are vegan recipes in the book, simply titled Rebar, and some others have vegan options. I quite like this book, though it is more restaurant-y in its feel, what with "mother sauces" and things you have to make in order to make other things. (I do that sometimes but most not) The selection is grand, even with just the vegan, and easily veganisable stuff.
Oh, yeah, the book is written by the restaurants founders Audrey Alsterburg and Wanda Urbanowicz.
