Mo Fo 17

For food that is served in the Fresh restaurants in Toronto (anyone been? any comments?) there is some easy to make stuff in this book. Yummy, but not intricate or super involved like some restaurant food is.

I'm talking here about the book ReFresh by Ruth Tal and Jennifer Houston, which is the next stop on our tour through my cook book shelves. You all still with me in this? Its the recipes used in the restaurants, or were used, as I can't comment on how up to date that is, so you could have your dinner there or at home!
I've made all of the rice bowls, and most of the dips from the book and all have been easy to make and tasty, so I can recommend this book based on those.

I've only made the veggie burgers and the scrambled tofu out of this, but they were both super yummy! I've been wanting to try the rice bowls!

I don't have anything good to say about Fresh, sorry. Every time I've gone there I've been disappointed. And I've been at their various locations 4 or 5 times.
I briefly mentioned my last ever Fresh meal/visit here

@meansoybean, I am sorry to hear that. From the book I would not have guessed the food would disappoint!
