Mo Fo 11

I got this one because Mum and Dad were offering to buy me books for my birthday and I needed to choose another to take them over the free shipping amount on Amazon. (How many books get bought for just this reason I wonder??)

It was a bit of a buzz book at the time, having just been released, and due to the popularity of the bakery (now in LA as well as NYC) but I haven't made a lot from it. With most of the baking focused books I have I find they don't get a lot of use as I bake from my own recipes.
So, if anyone reading this would like to add Baby Cakes by Erin McKenna to their library, as a gift from my library, leave a comment. Anyone, anywhere. I'll draw a winner at the end of Vegan MoFo and depending where you are (it'll be Surface Shipping) you should have it for Christmas.
Even better, if anyone wants to swap me a book from their library, leave a comment with your entry!

I would love to check this book out! As I understand it, there are a fair amount of gluten free recipes? I would swap with you...we could discuss a trade based on what you don't have and I do have. But it looks like you have a ton! What about Madhur Jaffery (sp?)--do you have any of her books? I love them! She does great Indian food :-)

The shop is pretty neat. I was there last year, but I had no idea they sold donuts! So disappointed that I missed 'em.

I'd love to get my hands on their book.

I would love to get a copy of the Babycakes cookbook, especially since my sister recently went gluten-free and my family has sort of been floundering with trying to make delicious gluten-free desserts. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I'd love it - I bake constantly and would like to add some g/f recipes to my repertoire since I'm starting a baking business next year.

This book would be amazing to add in my library of few vegan cookbooks. I've had a look at this book in the store, but never had enough money to buy it.

A good friend of mine is trying to go gluten free right now. If I win, perhaps I will keep it for myself for a little while, then pass it on to her. :)

Baking for my friend, Em, is a challenge because she can't eat gluten or soy, and she is a vegan. Eeek! I'd appreciate any expert help that I can get! :)

I love Babycakes cupcakes! In the spirit of giving, I'd actually give this to my friend who cannot eat gluten or dairy... as much as I'd love to have it for myself, at least I can go buy cupcakes from Babycakes anytime I want. My friend lives a bit far from the city so she only gets them a couple times a year.

I'd be interested to see what's in the book. I have been to Babycakes many times and I'm still waiting to be wow-ed by them. I'm wondering what I can do with this cookbook, hmmm.

The cover of that book has me drooling, I want to see what's inside!!!

This would be really handy as I eat a mostly wheat-free diet and could use some tips and pointers in the baking section of life. Also, I've never been to Babycakes, and baking the recipes at home would be much cheaper than flying to NYC!
