So. To get November off and running I am asking my dear readers (all 5 of you, haha) to think about what sort of muffin you would like me to create for you. and of course name in your honour.
.
You can give as many guidelines as you like - for example if you want lower fat, lower sugar, gluten free or whatever - as well as the flavour combination you think would be you. Be creative people!
.
Then I'll off and create something, make it, fine tune it, and post the perfected recipe here. After that it would be great if you could make the muffin and report back. Like a whole interactive muffin game.
.
If I get more than one or two responses I may have to randomly pick which one to make (first anyway), but if I'm intrigued by the suggestions I'll make more! Pass the word along and we'll see what we get!

in honor of the fall season, i'd like to request pumpkin chai. that is all :)
Ooooh oooh ooh!
Hmmm..let me see, since the Bakewell Muffin, which just blew my mind by the way, I'll have to think about this.....
I would like a low sugar recipe for sure (so as diabetic Mr T can indulge.
Oooooh I know! Are you familiar with Mr Kipling's Fondant Fancies?
They would be freaking awesome!
Rather a lot of sugar in the fondant though......

Oh - they're now called French Fancies!! When did that happen!!
I've not had one of these for years but they are delightful.
I would like a nice spicy chilli muffin...
something with carrots (I've never made a great carrot cake, let alone cupcake).
Working on a pumpkin chai sweetened without sugar, and something with carrots as we speak.
I have a few ideas floating about for a chilli muffin but they are nothing more substantial than that at the moment!
I agree about the diabetic ones but don't forget anything that becomes glucose is a no no!! No honey!!!!!!! And it was free!!
Kiwifruit; Feijoa for sweet ones.
Avocado; Asparagus for savoury.
Remember that lots of people also have cholesterol trouble with fats too.
My sister Sonia has requested via email a low fat "diet" but tasty super chocolate muffin. Now there is a test! and / or carrot with walnuts.
I bought tamarind concentrate recently, and don't really know what to do with it... So... maybe a tamarind-citrus muffin?
mmmm.... muffins....
for sweet - hokey pokey; black forest; chocolate caramelly ones (not all together obviously - three different flavours). For a challenge you could try converting nanaimo bars into a muffin!!
for savoury - the cafe near my old work did a spicy spinach and feta muffin that was moist and yummy, so something along those lines??
No walnuts for me Carla, allergies are so annoying. Can you make a moro-inspired muffin? Whipped nougat, caramel and milk chocolate. And the fewer funny-vegan ingredients the better (and I mean that in the nicest way) xox
Jonathan requested hokey pokey with white chocolate. Sounds good too
Our family have funny tastes in Muffins!!
Um, do you have any gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free (of course) muffins that kids would love? Always looking for great recipes for my classroom! Thanks!
